We are a little picky. We just won’t settle for anything short of delicious–even though we really do want to eat the sort of foods that are good for us. We call our mix of organic whole oats, locally-sourced organic honey and pure maple syrup, organic dried cranberries, organic coconut, and other tasty additions “Chicken Scratch” because it reminds us of the daily treat our hens go crazy for. We confess to eating this straight out of the bag, but it sure does make a comforting bowl of cereal too.
Like all our comfort foods, we create this granola in small batches and it is now packaged in thick, reusable and resealable food-grade plastic bags for freshness and convenience. You can find our granola over in the Raggedy Hen Farm Shop!
